Alison Jean

Alison joined the CBA team as an Environmental Education Technician intermittently from 2016-2022, leaving only to tend her growing family. Hailing from New England, she enjoyed hiking in the New Hampshire Mountains and exploring local state parks. While attending Bunker Hill Community College for her associate’s degree, she traveled to Costa Rica to study the lowland rainforests of its Pacific Coast. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Environmental Geoscience from University of Massachusetts Lowell and completed a senior project on the geochemistry of igneous provinces using neutron activation analysis. After college, Ali worked in the Massachusetts Public school system and at a native plant nursery until her family moved to Florida on military orders.
