Monica Wallis

Monica M. Wallis, P.E. is a native to Destin.  She currently works as the General Manager for Destin Water Users, Inc.  Monica is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelors and Masters in Civil Engineering as well as from Troy University with a Masters in Public Administration.  Monica was recently elected as the President of the Northwest Florida Utility Manager’s Council and is the Past-Chair of the Florida Section AWWA Water Utility Council.

Monica is the past-chair of the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance Advisory Board.  She has been active in the community, currently serving as the Chariman of the Destin Chamber as well as being a graduate of the inaugural class of Destin Forward (2008).  Her hobbies include scrapbooking, taking photos, being out on local waters and spending time with family.
