Mckenzie Going

Growing up in Tampa, Mckenzie developed a lifelong connection to the water, spending much of her time boating and exploring Florida’s coastal environments. That early exposure sparked a fascination with marine life and aquatic ecosystems that continues to shape her career path. Mckenzie is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology at the University of West Florida. She joined CBA in August 2025 and coordinates the Monofilament Recycling Program, helping reduce fishing line pollution and protect local wildlife. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time on the water, riding 4 wheelers, reading, and being with her family and cats.
